From the supplier: 'The Sporting News,' (TSN) US's oldest sports tabloid, has changed its management, editorial personnel, content and design format in hope of gaining new readers and an edge over its competitors. Circulation has been cut down, subscription rates have gone up, and editorial thrust has shifted to sports analysis, interpretation and opinion. Critics point out that the change has alienated its old readers and has made the tabloid too much like its competitors, 'USA Today' and 'ESPN.' The new management has also placed TSN on line.
