From the supplier: The appointment of Judith Feder and Atul Gawande to head the health care planning section of Bill Clinton's transition team has lead to the conjecture that managed competition law would be the most politically expedient choice for health care reform legislation. Feder has been a strong supporter of cost regulation and Gawande reportedly favors managed competition. The House Conservative Democratic Forum introduced managed competition legislation in its last Congressional session that appears to complement Clinton's policy. The Senate's proposed Manage Competition Act may also gain Clinton's approval.
