From the supplier: St. Louis newspapers and radio shows focussed on the private life of KSDK-TV weatherman Bob Richards after a judge issued a temporary restraining order preventing Richards from contacting Donna L. Henry. Henry had petitioned the court after Richards ignored her efforts to terminate a two-year old affair. The Associated Press, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the four major television stations carried low-key news items. Steve Shannon and D.C. Chymes of WKBQ-FM broadcast a call from Henry and their treatment of the issue during peak drive-in time was very high-profile. Richards died in an accident while flying his Piper Cherokee.
