The Wonder of It All: A Devotional Book to Exemplify the Beauty of the Creator's Works and to Encourage All of Us to Walk in His Ways
How generous of an invisible God to provide so many vivid ways to picture His character—in the rugged permanence of the mountain West, in the pure refreshment of a crashing waterfall, in the tender beauty of a spring wildflower. And now, through the fine art nature photography of Tom Fox and the devotional insights of pastor Adrian Rogers, God’s awe and majesty is captured in all its breathtaking beauty—in a sweeping variety of textures, backgrounds, and colors.

This deluxe coffee-table book (a coast-to-coast travelogue of America’s scenic masterpieces) hinges around three overarching themes—creation’s wonders, salvation’s promises, and God’s daily provisions—telling the story of God’s purposes in the glories of nature and in the unfathomable gift of Jesus Christ.

Elegantly designed with simple lines, understated accents, and a large canvas of white space, this book is sure to inspire both the believer and the seeker with the unbelievable Wonder of It All..

From the supplier: The popularity of the form of 'De casibus' tragedy influenced the representation of political women in Renaissance England, but the form failed when confronted with the real life example of Queen Elizabeth. 'De casibus' tragedy was a form relating the falls of great men and women, influenced by Boccaccio's 'De casibus virorum illustrium.' In England the 'De casibus' form, intermediate between the chronicle and narrative history, was represented by 'The Mirror for Magistrates.' The temptation of political power for women was interpreted as a parable of chastity, with a tragic end no matter whether the woman resisted or succumbed.
