From the supplier: The convergence or divergence of regions in the US is determined for the 1929-1992 period. A model with a quadratic term which includes the partial adjustment process is developed. Results show that regional inequality increased during the late 1970s due to factors such as the energy crises, trade deficits and supply shocks. Goverment programs should now be revised to include balanced regional development.
